Dominica

Thursday we arrived in port early at the island of Dominica. This is where I have had great whale watching experiences in the past. Today we decided on touring the island a little and then going snorkeling at champagne reef. We first hooked up with a guide “Great Joy” was his handle. We first went to Trafalgar Falls which was wonderful. There are two falls, the mother and father. It was a great hike through the forest to get up to the falls. Spectacular view! We then went to the Botanical gardens and toured the rest of the surrounding area. Then it was off to Champagne reef!
