Beginning a new cruising season.

I arrived safely in Bayonne N.J. to board the M/V Zenith for four weeks os sailing to Bermuda. It was exceptionally nice of Patty and Emily to take me there under very hazardous driving conditions. I boarded almost immediately and wandered around the ship looking for a few old friends.

It was great to be aboard ship again. I had a few mixed emotions leaving home after all the upgrades I had done but oh well.....I must cruise. I got together for drinks Saturday night in the Martini bar with my old friend and cruise director, Don Fluke. The bartenders however first asked where Mr. James was. That's Patty's husband who they remembered from our June sailing. They had a martini they call something like battery acid ready for him. He'll really like that. Dinner was very good despite the conditions.... My waiter is Paulo from Portugal whom I'm had several times...he's very good. My waiter Edward from Peru was there and I said hello from Patty and Emily.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the sailing conditions.... Under normal circumstances when the ship leaves it's hard to tell because it is so smooth. Not this trip! We had a rock and roll adventure! It was OK for my...I put in my earplugs and sleep like a baby. I went to bed looking forward to some sun the next day (and smoother sailing).
