Nassau, Bahamas

Today the weather is spectacular…very hot and sunny. I walked several miles around the island this morning capturing a few photos, shopping and just enjoying the scenery. I walked up to the Queen’s Staircase that leads up to Fort Fincastle…great views and a pretty unusual fort. Notice the front is shaped like a ship…pretty cool. The Queen’s staircase is really pretty, especially with the waterfall. I also walked over the bridge to Paradise Island, home of Atlantis Hotel and Casino. Beautiful views! I went back to the ship for a while to catch some rays. Really a nice day. It’s nice to finally be able to post a few photos for you folks. After today we have two days at sea before this cruise is over. I’m wondering what next week will bring…will we go to Bermuda? Who knows….
