Tortola (Monday)

This morning I went to Cane Garden Bay with Randi, Mark and Gail. The taxi ride over the mountain is an adventure in itself. I didn’t think the taxi we were in would actually make it over the mountain. The hairpin turns are a bit nerve racking. They are nothing but an accident waiting to happen. Cane Garden was lovely. We got there before 9:00 in the morning and it was pretty deserted. The day turned out to be great. We did have some dark clouds occasionally but no rain and plenty of sun overall. The water was just perfect. We had some lunch and later in the afternoon we went into Road Town to look around at some shops. Great day! Next, 2 days at sea….here’s hoping for some nice weather.
