Day at sea

Woke up this morning to dark clouds and pouring rain. All I can think about is I hope this cruise doesn’t turn out to be a washout. I was sitting there watching the rain and this British gentleman sitting next to me says…It’ll clear up midday. I said "I don’t think so…". Well, he was right, almost to the minute. We managed to squeeze out about 4 hours of nice weather. The day was salvaged. Formal night Monday night along with the Captain’s Club cocktail party. It was held in the show lounge again so I had to go up on stage. I prefer having the party in the Rainbow Room (Disco) so I don’t have to get up on stage. The night was very nice.
