St Vincent

St Vincent was an interesting experience. It is a beautiful island, very tropical, mountainous and Rain Forest. I went in search of a great beach. I took a taxi to Villa beach which was pretty much of a bust since most of the sand has eroded. Across the way however is Young's island. A beautiful, private island with golden sandy beach. I called them for permission to come over on the water taxi....and got it. They said I could come over at 10:00, after breakfast. In the meantime, we started to get some showers on that end of the island. A local fellow called Sparrow told me he would take me on a tour by boat around the island and the drop me at the ship. I told him that would be great but would have to wait until I came back from Young's island. Meanwhile the showers persisted...I could see that it was only that end of the island so I bagged the trip to the island and went with Sparrow. The tour around the island was great. It really is a beautiful island. I then went back to the ship and did some heavy bronzing.
