Cabo San Lucas

Just got back from a wonderful day in Cabo San Lucas. Gail and I took one of the first tenders ashore this morning around 9:30. The weather was beautiful, with a bit of breeze. First, we walked around the marina looking at yachts and doing a little shopping. We stopped on the way at a little restaurant for drinks on our way ultimately to the beach. We decided to go initially to Playa El Medano (Dune Beach) which is a very popular destination. There was a fair amount of spring breakers at one section of the beach….we sat else ware. The day was beautiful! Later, we took a water taxi over to Playa del Amor (Lovers Beach) because it was billed as one of the world’s most famous beaches. It is home to El Arco, the arches which is a beautiful natural rock formation…in the form of an arch, surprisingly. There was also a colony of seals next to the beach which was really cool. After taking more photos than I could ever use we eventually made our way back to the ship…for more last minute rays of course. Tomorrow we will be in Mazatlan, a place I have enjoyed in the past. I haven’t been there in a long while so I am looking forward to the visit. I haven’t decided what to do yet which should come as no surprise.
