Mazatlan

Fabulous day! It was really nice to get back to Mazatlan after not visiting here for a long time. It brought back a lot of nice memories. First thing this morning I went to the Zona Dorada (Golden Zone) for some great duty free shopping. I think the “Golden” zone is a bit past it’s peak….I wasn’t impressed. From there it was time for the beach. Went to Oyster Joe’s Bar to spend time at the beach but they weren’t open yet so I went next door to the Hotel Playa Mazatlan. I thought it looked familiar…I stayed here back in 1990….been awhile. The beach, food and weather was really nice. I got some major sun action today…Simply wonderful. After such a spectacular day, I am looking forward to another resort from the past tomorrow, Puerto Vallarta. Should be lots of fun!
