First day at sea...(Sunday)

My expectations today were very low in terms of the weather. When I first got to the pool around 0730 it was ugly….windy, cold…brrrrrr. As the morning progressed it actually turned out a bit better than expected. We did have a nice stretch of sunshine during the day until the torrential rains came. I was pleasantly surprised. Just like I’ve always said “Set your expectations low enough and you’ll never be disappointed”. This is the philosophy which has guided my life…..Just one of my tips on how to be successful! Tonight I am invited to dine with the Captain. It will be my last chance to dine with Captain Mitropoulos since he goes on vacation on the 28th when we get to Curacao. I’m looking forward to it. Later….dinner with the Captain was great. We all had a great meal and nice time. After dinner I went to the show with the new cast of Celebrity singers and dancers…not as good as the old bunch. It doesn’t seem the same without them here, especially Jen and Larenne.
