Day at Sea (Sunday)

We’ll at least the cruise is picking up at the end. Today was really nice…lots of sun. Of course I had my maximum SPF lotion applied. It also was a bit breezy so I went aft on deck 10 again so I could sit under my umbrella and stay away from the harmful rays of the sun…yeah right. Tonight I say goodbye to my tablemates and get ready for the new bunch. I understand there are over 100 back-to-back cruisers this time around. I guess they stayed on again to get a tan. They’re not all professionals you know….
Now for a little funny story…I went to the Captain’s Club cocktail party this morning in the Fleet bar. The cocktail party is for Select (more than 5 cruises) and Elite members of the Captain’s Club. With 45 cruises I am Elite (11 or more). I walked in and this tall blonde dancer who was manning the door to keep non members out asked me where I was going. I said I was going to the party. She said it’s only for Select and Elite implying that I didn’t belong. I told her that I was the top cruiser onboard…she said I’m sorry. I did a double take turned around to leave and said over my shoulder that I really was the top cruiser. You don’t have to be the brightest bulb to be a door watcher. I love it….
