Bequia

We sailed on a catamaran to the island of Bequia. We first went to Port Elizabeth for a walk around and a little shopping. We then sailed around the island to the old whaling station and then came back and anchored at Princess Margaret Beach. Here we snorkeled a bit, had a great lunch aboard the ship and explored the coast. It was a very lovely spot and very deserted. Great place to go if you don’t like crowds. Beautiful island! On the way back to St Vincent we had a wild ride aboard the catamaran. The seas looked to be at least 15 feet, causing the nose of the boat to go way up in the air and slam down…repeatedly. Lot’s of screaming by some very terrified people …no it wasn’t me. Pretty exciting though!
