British Virgin Islands

Today was a beautiful day…bright, sunny and warm! This morning after we arrived at Tortola, British Virgin Islands, I decided to take a ferry to the island of Virgin Gorda. I haven’t been there for almost 20 years. It is a beautiful little island known for the “Baths”. This is a unique little beach area where gigantic boulders have created secluded coves and picturesque grottos. The snorkeling here can be pretty good sometimes. I took the 10:30 ferry over to Spanish Town and arrived a little after 11:00. After a short, very bumpy, taxi ride I arrived at the Baths. It’s a 350 meter hike down to the beach along a narrow path strewn with boulders. I had a great day on the beach and climbing and crawling thru the field of boulders.
