Sailing back to Ft Lauderdale

Got up early this morning to get a good spot on our last day at sea and almost got blown away. Couldn’t believe how windy it was today. I got a chair in a good spot for the sun but wrapped up in a towel to stay warm. The Captain came along and said that he was surprised that I hadn’t gone to deck 11 or 12 aft to get out of the wind….left immediately. I owe the Captain one! Had a great day! Once out of the wind the day was fantastic. We were sailing alongside the Century, also heading to Ft Lauderdale but she soon drifted back as we smoked her. Thought about all my friends onboard the Century. After spending 7 weeks on a ship you do become close with a number of the crew.

Dinner last night was great again. The King Crab is just as great as the lobster. I’m liking their food more and more. Princess may be taking me away from doing as much Celebrity as I’ve been doing. But since Celebrity’s customer relations told David, my travel agent, that I wasn’t special even though I was sailing over 6 months with them they really wouldn’t care…or would they???? All I know is that I’m really enjoying this trip…more than I enjoyed the Century.
