Trinidad

Amazing as it may seem, I had a pretty good day today even though the weather sucked…for the most part. I arrived early this morning in Trinidad greeted by overcast skies and occasional showers. As planned, I went over the mountains to Maracas beach. The drive was very scenic, beautiful lush landscapes, towering mountains, cliffs and spectacular views. The beach itself was really nice; broad sandy beaches and beautiful surroundings. The showers came and went and everything turned out OK. Trinidad, once you get away from Port of Spain is really a beautiful island. Hopefully tomorrow we will have better weather. We will be in Bonaire and I look forward to some great snorkeling.
