Grenada

We arrived in Grenada this morning finding it overcast and rainy. I decided early that I would not go to Grand Anse (the beach) since the weather would be too iffy. I got off and went into St. George to walk around and perhaps do a little shopping. I went up to Ft. George…quite a climb for an old guy. Nice view from up there. St. Georges is a very hilly city. The weather constantly rotated most of the day between sun and light showers. The showers really felt good because it is very humid and hot here. I’m sure those of you sitting in cold weather feel sorry for me. At 4:00 they put the Broncos/Steelers game up on the giant screen by the pool. Pretty neat! Tonight is formal night…lobster. On Princess they actually serve two lobster tails and they are great!…much better than Celebrity. Last night I had a 10 oz. filet mignon…not on the menu but Bruno, the Restaurant manager said I could have it whenever I want it…not bad. It was really tremendous! I’m sure the lobster tonight will be equally great. Tomorrow at 12:00 noon, we arrive at Bonaire, an unscheduled stop. Originally we were to go to La Guaira Venezuela. The change was made because the road is out going to Caracas. I will go to Harbor Village Beach Resort. This is were we wanted to go last time but the taxi driver took us elsewhere. This time I’ll make it… weather permitting.
